Camera Ready Guidelines

ACM CoNEXT 2008 Camera-ready Guidelines and Submissions
Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings and distributed to the conference attendees. At least one of the authors must register for the conference, at the standard fee and attend the conference to present the paper.

The submission deadline for camera-ready versions of accepted papers for the ACM CoNEXT 2008 (main conference) is 15th October, 2008, however early submissions are recommended. For ACM CoNEXT Student Workshop, ReArch'08 and ROADS'08, please visit their pages to check their specific Camera Ready submission deadlines. The papers can be uploaded electronically, in PDF format, by logging into EDAS and using your EDAS username and password to access the page for your paper. The camera-ready versions of accepted papers should include modifications to incorporate the reviewers' comments and meet the page length limit associated with the Conference or Collocated Workshop, and be formatted according to the 10pt modified LaTeX ACM template. A different template is provided for the main ACM CoNEXT 2008 conference and each of the collocated workshops, so the right ACM Copyright strip is included on the first page of the paper:

ACM CoNEXT 2008 (main conference). ACM CoNEXT 2008 Camerea Ready submissions cannot exceed 12 pages in length.
ACM CoNEXT 2008 Student Workshop. ACM 2008 CoNEXT Student Workshop Camera Ready submissions cannot exceed 2 pages in length.
ReArch'08 Workshop. ReArch'08 Camera Ready submissions cannot exceed 6 pages in length.
ROADS'08 Workshop. ROADS'08 cannot exceed 6 pages in length.

Please follow the formatting guidelines, outlined on this page, and make sure that your submission complies with all of the stated requirements.

Formatting Guidelines
Camera-ready submissions should be in two-column format, with 10pt font. Please refrain from exceeding the required page length limit, as longer submissions and/or papers with modified margins or fonts will not be reviewed. Authors are required to adhere to the following guidelines when preparing their submission:

Submissions MUST meet the page length limit associated with the main Conference or collocated Workshop, in 10 point Times Roman (or equivalent font). This length includes all content: figures, tables, references, appendices and so forth.
Submissions MUST follow ACM guidelines: double column, with each column 9.25" by 3.33", with 0.33" space between columns.
You are strongly encouraged to use the modified 10pt ACM SIG-alternate latex template. NOTE: The ACM copyright strip should be present on the paper's front page and include the following information (latex templates are provided above):
- For the ACM CoNEXT 2008 (main conference): Copyright 2008 ACM 978-1-60558-210-8/08/0012 ...$5.00.
- For the ACM CoNEXT 2008 Student Workshop: Copyright 2008 ACM 978-1-60558-264-1/08/0012 ...$5.00.
- For the ReArch'08 workshop: Copyright 2008 ACM 978-1-60558-234-4/08/0012 ...$5.00.
- For the ROADS'08 workshop: Copyright 2008 ACM 978-1-60558-266-5/08/0012 ...$5.00.
Provide an abstract of fewer than 200 words.
The paper MUST be submitted in PDF format. We must be able to display and print your submission exactly as we receive it, using only standard tools (Adobe Acrobat Reader), without having to load special fonts.
Ensure that the paper prints well on black-and-white printers, not color printers (especially or plots and graphs), and that symbols and labels used in the graphs are readable when printed.
Ensure that the output has been formatted for printing on LETTER-sized paper (8.5" by 11").
Try to limit the file size to less than 15 MB.

The lead authors of accepted papers will need to sign the ACM copyright release form, available here. An electronic copy of the signed copyright form should be sent by email by 1st November, 2008 to the Publication Chair, Hassnaa Moustafa (hassnaa.moustafaorange-ftgroup.com).
