Things to Do Around the Hotel
Harbourfront
The Harbourfront area west of the hotel on Queen's Quay is a recreation and entertainment area,
with restaurants, small parks, cruise boats, music stage, etc.
Toronto Islands
The Toronto Islands is a popular recreational park right across the Toronto Harbour.
Ferries to the islands depart behind the Westin Hotel,
go roughly every 30 minutes, and cost $6.50 roundtrip.
The lakeside of the island has sand beaches. The center part of the island offers bike and boat rentals (

- BIXI is a new public bicycle sharing system in Toronto. Bikes can be picked up and dropped off
at any one of 80 stations in the Downtown area. For $5 a day ($12 for 72 hours) one gets unlimited 30-minute
bike rentals. Additional fees apply for longer rentals: $1.50 for 31-60min, $4.00 for 61-90 minutes, and $8.00 for each additional half hour.
