At the Conference

Ride Back to the Airport

We will provide attendees with complimentary transfer assistance for your return journey, including for example taxi pick-up back to Hercilio Luz Int'l Airport (Florianópolis FLN). Detailed information will be available soon. Meanwhile, if you are departing early and need immediate assistance, please contact us at the conference reception desk. You may also consider the sigcomm-roomshare-l discussion list if you would like to arrange for shared transportation with other attendees.

Boarding Pass Printing Service

If you would like us to print your boarding pass(es), please send an e-mail to sigcomm2016@gmail.com, with a PDF copy of your boarding pass(es) attached. We will notify you once your boarding pass(es) are ready for pick up at the registration desk. Kindly note that this service is exclusively for boarding pass(es) printing only.

Before Departure

Assistance Upon Arrival at Hercílio Luz Int'l Airport (FLN)

We will provide attendees with complimentary transfer assistance upon arrival at Hercilio Luz Int'l Airport (Florianópolis FLN). We will be glad to assist you, for example, with taxi pick-up and other issues you might need help with. Please fill in the Google Form if you are interested, and inform your full name and e-mail address, airline company and flight number, and scheduled date and time of arrival. You may also include some additional remarks you find relevant (e.g. arriving with spouse and/or children, need assistance with car rental, etc.)

Kindly note that our volunteers will be available during daytime and evening on Sunday (21), and in the morning and afternoon on Monday (22). Please contact us if you are arriving before or after this period.

Travel Tips and Advisory

We prepared a flyer containing useful information regarding your trip to Brazil and Florianópolis (including currency exchange, smartphone apps you may use to call a taxi, information on electricity voltage, etc.) We kindly ask you to print a copy for your reference.
