Conference Venue

ACM ICN-2014 will be held at Institut les Cordeliers, a 19th century hospital and medical school incorporating the remains of a 13th century convent, which today houses a medical research center. The venue is located in the medieval heart of Paris, between the St. Germain and Latin Quarter areas, and a few minutes away from most Paris attractions. The address of the venue is 21 rue de l’École de Médecine, 75006, Paris, France. The venue location is marked on the map below; you can also print a map of the area around the venue from the registration summary page.

Social Events

ACM ICN-2014 features a Welcome Reception and a Conference Banquet.

  • The Welcome Reception will take place at the conference venue on Wednesday at 19:00, after the tutorials. Drinks and hors d’oeuvre will be served.
  • The Conference Banquet will take place at the Musée D’Orsay on Thursday evening. Starting at 18:00, registrants should enter via door “C”, where they will receive a ticket to the museum. Bags and coats must be left at the cloackroom on floor -1, they will be available for pickup after the dinner outside the restaurant. Registrants can visit the museum until 19:00, when the dinner will be served at the Grande Salle à manger (the main restaurant) on floor 1 of the museum. Note that museum and cloakroom tickets are included in each registration. Banquet tickets for accompanying persons can be purchased through the registration system (in the agenda section).

Hotels

Paris offers a wide variety of accomodation options, catering to all tastes and budgets. The conference has not contracted blocks of rooms at specific hotels, so attendees can make their own arrangements. Some hotels within easy walking distance of the conference venue are indicated on the map below, and many more options are accessible via public transport.
