Description
A coalition of Internet measurement groups (The Internet Society, M-Lab, IIJ, IODA) invites you to join the Open Measurement Hackathon at the IMC in Madrid on 3 November 2024, the day before the conference starts (4-6 November).
The event will be from 12:00 to 18:00, lunch will be provided.
We are looking for participants interested in exploring, analyzing, and visualizing network measurement open data from different sources to extract meaningful information about network disruption events. We are looking for people from a variety of backgrounds (e.g. economists or social scientists), including those who might not work directly with network disruptions and still want to contribute.
Capacity is limited to 30 participants.

Evaluation Criteria
First come first serve basis.
Requested Skills
- Required: Experience with SQL/Google BigQuery, Python, Pandas, R and/or Golang
- Nice to have: Experience with anomaly detection, data visualization and/or network interference analysis
- No experience with our datasets required
