Registration Policy for Authors
We require at least one author (student, member or non-member) to register for every accepted paper to be published, namely “Full Registration”. A single registration can cover multiple papers, as long as the registrant is an author of each of the papers.
Note about remote registrations: “Remote Registrations” do not count as a “Full registration”. Every accepted paper must have at least one “Full Registration” (student, member or non-member), irrespective of the author’s ability to attend.
Presentation Policy
Remote presentations are not permitted. Any co-authors attending the conference may be required to present the paper (including Professors). Remote participants will be able to access the live stream of the conference and interact with other remote participants, but they will not be able to present the paper remotely or over a pre-recorded video. The aim is to ensure on-site interactivity and engagement, with the objective of providing a better experience for participants attending the physical event.
Cancellation Policy
Refunds are only provided in the case of visa denial. If a visa is denied, the difference between the full registration and the remote registration will be refunded less a $50 processing fee, provided that another co-author has a full registration. The visa should have been submitted within two weeks of (1) the paper acceptance notification for authors or (2) the travel grant notification for non-authors who applied to be eligible for a refund. Proof will be required and dates will be correlated with when ACM issued the invitation letter. In any case, no refunds shall be considered after 60 days following payment, or 15 days following the completion of the event in which registration fees were collected.
