CONFERENCE PROGRAM Program at a glance Tutorial program Technical program Abstracts Papers Student Poster Session - Work-in-progress This year, the SIGCOMM 2000 conference will sponsor a poster session aimed at showcasing the "work-in-progess" of students attending the conference. The goal of the poster session is to present students' work in progress and provide an opportunity for informal discussion of the work with the students within the conference venue. What is a poster? The "authors" of each accepted poster will be given an approximately 1 meter x 1.25 meter poster board to which they can affix material describing their work in progress. An author may choose to print out several 8.5"x11" or A4 sheets of paper (e.g., paper copies of overheads) and "tile" the poster board with these pages. Alternatively, an author may choose to print a single large (e.g., 1 meter x 1.25 meter) sheet of paper describing the work and attach that to the poster board.
Authors should submit a 500 word text file describing the research to be presented in the poster, as well as a draft of the poster material (whether it be multiple "tiles" or a single sheet of paper), in pdf or postscript format.
