Session Description

Open-source software — OpenAirInterface/Duranta, srsRAN/OCUDU, the Linux Foundation's open RAN projects, AI-native PHY toolchains — is the substrate on which AI-RAN research is built. But what research does the stack actually enable, and where does it block you? Four maintainers, technology leads, and users answer the same two questions in strictly timed lightning intros, a live poll lets you rank the bottlenecks blocking the research you want to do, and an open-mic round matches your experiment ideas to concrete stack capabilities. No 5G background needed: we open with a five-minute map of the ecosystem and explain what the components do. This is your chance to influence the roadmap for AI-RAN open source software.
