ACM SIGCOMM 2026 - Information for Student Attendees

We have several programs and events for students attending SIGCOMM 2026. Please check the following information to make the most of your conference experience.

We are providing gold and platinum sponsors of SIGCOMM with support for match making with students --- they may want to organize an event, or just reach out for recruiting.

This is opt-in. Meaning, we are requesting you (the student) to fill out a form indicating that you're willing for us to share your information with them.

Also note in the program is a dinner on Tuesday just for students and select senior members of the community --- the Student/Mentor dinner. For first (or even second) time attendees, we know that interacting with researchers at conferences can be intimidating. The mentors we'll have at this event are going to be proactive in trying to help you out. So, this could be a great way to ease into the conference.

Another great event which is just a fun, low pressure event, is the welcome reception. If you can make it on Monday, be sure to introduce yourself to Eric Keller or Sangtae Ha (the general chairs) or any of the organizers --- we'll be happy to introduce you to some people and help start the conference off right.
