Parking

Parking at UMD:

Visitor parking is primarily available in surface lots and parking garages which have been equipped with pay by space digital pay stations. The hourly parking rate is $4.00 per hour, and hours of operation are 7:00 a.m. to midnight daily. Please note that listed rates and operating hours are subject to change. Visitor parking may not be available during special events. Read any posted signs before parking. For more information, visit the UMD Visitor Parking website.

Recommended Parking - Union Lane Garage:

We recommend that you use the Union Lane Parking Garage, which is conveniently located between the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Center for Campus Life and Cole Student Activity Building. The entrance for the Garage is at the bottom, accessible from Fieldhouse Drive. Hours of operation, as a pay station area, are 7:00 a.m. to midnight daily. Current rates at this facility are $4.00 per hour. See map below:

Alternative Parking Options:

Other visitor parking garages are available on campus, including:

• Stadium Drive Garage - Located adjacent to SECU Stadium and the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center
• Mowatt Lane Garage - Located near Van Munching Hall and Robert H. Smith School of Business (visitor parking on first floor)
• Regents Drive Garage - Located near Hornbake Library (visitor parking on top floor)

All garages operate with digital pay stations from 7:00 a.m. to midnight daily at $4.00 per hour.
