Call for Presentations
News and Community Feedback Session
IMC this year will continue to hold the "News and Community Feedback Session", which will consist of short presentations or announcements on topics that are relevant to IMC audience. If you have an experience you want to share, a tool or dataset you want to announce, or just some feedback for IMC or our research community in general, we encourage you to present.
The proposed topics should be aligned with IMC's mission and of interest to the general Internet measurement community. Researchers from academia, government, and industry are encouraged to present. Example topics include (but not limited to):
To participate in this session, we invite you to submit a short proposal describing the content of your presentation or announcement, and why it is relevant to the IMC community. The description can be just a few paragraphs, and NOT longer than 1 page.
The steering committee (SC) will make the final selections of the submissions. The selection will be based on the importance, originality, focus and timeliness of the topic, as well as the potential for informative and controversial discussion throughout and after the conference. The final number of accepted talks is at the discretion of the SC depending on the scope and quality of the submissions. We aim to be as inclusive as time permits, and expect to host 10-12 short presentation of 5-6 minutes each. The time limit would be adjusted based on the final program and will be strictly enforced.
Please submit your proposal in PDF format to mallman@icir.org by September 18, 2013.
