All SIGCOMM 2005 student attendees are invited to attend the Student Dinner at the World Cafe Live on Monday, August 22th. The dinner begins at 7:45 p.m, following the ACM Turing Lecture. The restaurant is within walking distance of the lecture hall. World Cafe Live is the home of WXPN, the public radio station of the University of Pennsylvania. Directions to the World Cafe Live from the Turing Lecture at Irving Auditorium

  • Walk east on Spruce Street to 33rd Street.
  • Turn left onto 33rd Street, walk north 0.2 miles to Walnut Street.
  • Turn right onto Walnut Street, walk east 0.3 miles to the World Cafe Live.

Directions to the World Cafe Live from the Sheraton Conference Hotel

  • Take the Market-Frankford (blue) subway line westbound from the 2nd street subway station (corner of 2nd and Market streets) to 30th Street Station (corner of 30th and Market streets).
  • Walk three blocks south from 30th Street Station to Walnut Street.
  • Alternatively, you may walk 2.1 miles west along Walnut Street from the Sheraton Hotel to the World Cafe Live.

On Wednesday, August 24th, 6:00 p.m., we welcome all attendees of SIGCOMM 2005 to a banquet at the delightful Moshulu!
