The Symposium on SDN Research (SOSR) is the premiere venue for research publications on SDN, building on past years' successful SOSR and HotSDN (Hot Topics in Software Defined Networking) workshops. Like last year, SOSR will be co-located with the Open Networking Summit (ONS), providing opportunity for industry and academia to jointly explore and debate recent developments related to all aspects of SDN.

The ACM SOSR 2017 conference will be held in Santa Clara, CA on April 3-4, 2017.

We invite researchers and practitioners to submit both long and short papers. For more information, see the call for papers and the call for demos and posters.

We also pleased to announce that we will be giving out the SOSR Software Systems Award at this year's SOSR. Consider nominating those whose software has significantly impacted SDN.
