Free Wifi at every MTR Station
Starting from 8 July 2013, you can enjoy free Wi-Fi in every MTR station! You can connect to the internet with your smartphone or computer with internet accessibility near the sign of “MTR Free Wi-Fi Hotspots”. Simply select the “MTR Free Wi-Fi” network for free connectivity of up to 15 minutes per session with maximum 5 sessions for each smart phone / computer per day. So you can stay connected wherever you go!

Government Wi-Fi Program (GovWiFi)
Government Wi-Fi Programme (GovWiFi) aims to provide FREE wireless Internet access services to all citizens by installing Wi-Fi facilities at designated government premises and benefiting not only local people but also foreign visitors at the designated tourist spots. Wi-Fi facilities are available since early 2008 at various government premises in all 18 districts. These premises include public libraries, public enquiry service centres, sports venues, cultural and recreational centres, cooked food markets and cooked food centres, job centres, community halls, major parks, government buildings and offices. As at May of 2012, the government has rolled out service at around 400 premises.

Hong Kong International AirportStay connected at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) before boarding your flight! With your Wi-Fi enabled device, you can enjoy free wireless Internet access at most seating and public areas in the passenger terminals. No registration is required.
Please follow the steps below to get connected:
- Disable data service (eg. GPRS or 3G) to avoid roaming service fee
- Select “#HKAirport Free WiFi” as your connection network (SSID)
- Launch the internet browser and enter any valid website address
- Click “Accept & Continue” after reading all terms and conditions
- Enjoy the free Wi-Fi service
- Disconnect your device from the Wi-Fi network after use
