Conference Dinner (Tuesday 22 October)

Dinner at the Chapel

IMC’s conference dinner will take place at the Hotel Arena in the chapel, which is in the historic part of the hotel building. Built between 1886 and 1888, the building originally housed a Roman Catholic Girl’s Orphanage. The building has seen many uses over its rich history and now houses a four-star luxury hotel. The chapel, which once housed religious services, first transformed into a night club, and is now a premium event location in the heart of Amsterdam. Dinner will be seated with a three-course set menu that takes any dietary requirements you have informed us about into account (see below). Soft drinks, beer and wine are provided free of charge until the end of the dinner at approximately 23:00h.

There will be a guarded cloak room provided, which closes at 23:30h.

Admission to the dinner is based on possession of an IMC badge, those of you who are bringing a plus one will receive an extra dinner badge. Therefore, please remember to bring your badge.

For those of you taking part in the canal tour social event, our volunteers will guide you to the dinner location from the drop-off point at the dock after the tour. Note: there is limited time for bag drop-off at hotels near the venue, the dinner location is open from 19:00h.

In case you will not participate in the canal boat tour, you are welcome at the dinner location from 19:00h.

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

If you informed us about any dietary requirements or allergies, you will find marks on your IMC conference badge. There are three circles on the badge as shown below:

Please display your badge to the restaurant staff so they are aware of your dietary requirements, and do not hesitate to ask them for information if you are unsure.

In case your badge does not correspond to your dietary requirements, please come to the reception desk. It is important that you do this as soon as possible so we can inform the restaurant about any last-minute changes.
